Keeping The Course In Shape

While the golf course is closed, Chef Matt and Golf Pro Matt have been helping mow, rake, fill divots etc.  Thanks guys.

# 7 Fairway looking good.

We fixed a problem on # 6 fairway.  There was a broken drainage line that was flooding the fairway.

Maintenance continues, but we are backing off on frequency.  The regular crew will come back when we reopen.

We're Open for Play

We changed cups this week for the 1st time since November.  The greens will get to a normal green color when the temperature gets above 70 degrees.

We got a new sprayer this week.  It has a larger tank that will allow me to finish fairways with 1 less tank saving several hours.

We rolled the greens on Friday.  This smooths out any imperfections on the green.  We will cut Tuesday or Wednesday.  We will be putting out ball washers and tee markers also.

Carts are permitted.  On wet days, please stay on the path.

Winter Work

Last Summer, I broke a valve on the range.  We were able to replace it this week on a warm day.

Our water coolers were looking a little faded after 10 years of sun.  Lalo gave them a fresh new look.

Winter is the time Lalo shines.  He does maintenance on all of our equipment.  This includes oil changes, filters, spark plugs and grinding reels and bed knives.  He will have everything ready to go by March.

Frosty morning Monday.
